No and Yes, you have to choose the solar roof add-on along with EV charging option.

Do you also provide custom design 2BHK or 3BHK prefab homes ?

No BOHO Pods does not, but we do have an sister concern architectural firm which can explore this as a service.

Do the Pods come with a private pool ?

No and Yes, we do not have a private plunge pool included in the Pod price BUT you can opt for it as an add-on.

How long will the pod last and remain in good condition ?

Our Pods are made with industrial grade material and are designed to last comfortably for over 30+ years- with our AMC Program @ INR 15000 / quarter they can be kept in mint condition for even more.

Do you also have landscaping services. ?

Every Pod comes with basic landscaping but we recommend that you take the Landscape Add-On which takes the beauty of the periphery of you Pod to another level. ( All add-on can be taken at a later date based on your budget and convenience.)

Can I place the Pod in the middle of nowhere?

Yes you can, simply opt for the following options:-

Do I get a bank loan for the Pod?

Yes you can, we have tie-ups with private banks for the pods. This commercial relationship is purely between you and the bank.

Do i need permission for the local municipal authority to install the pod on my plot of land ?

Yes, very basic approvals from the local municipal authorities are necessary, this is NOT the same as the approvals required for a proper concrete structure its more on the lines of informing the authorities that you wish to install a temporary cabin . To make the process smoother, we supply complete structural drawings along with detailed technical specifications to assist in your application.

What the cost difference between a Prefab Cabin and traditional construction ?

Traditional construction cost ₹1,800–₹4,500+ per sq. ft. and often take 12–18 months with risk of delays.

Prefab modular homes start at ₹1,500–₹2,500 per sq. ft., include premium finishes, and are ready in just 4–6 months.

What happens to wastewater from the Pod’s STP (Sewage Treatment Plant)?

The STP treats wastewater to meet environmental standards. The treated water can be safely discharged or reused for:

How is the sludge from the STP disposed of?

Sludge generated from the STP is periodically removed and can be sent to authorized waste management facilities. For eco-communities, this sludge can be converted into compost or bio-fertilizer for landscaping

Can the treated water really be reused?

Yes, the STP produces water that is non-potable but perfectly suitable for secondary uses. With proper filtration, it can even be integrated into a rainwater harvesting cycle for maximum sustainability.

What about solid waste from daily Pod use?

We recommend integrating waste segregation bins in every Pod. Community-based Pod clusters can be provided with composting pits or bio-digesters for organic waste, while recyclable waste is collected for authorized recycling facilities.
